Frank James Hospital Adelaide Grove
Was originally a home for seaman, built in the nineteenth century by two James brothers in memory of their third brother Frank a serving sailor who was killed by an elephant in Africa. The running of it was financed by donations from local people and the Osborne Naval College. Earlier this century it was converted into a hospital. The workmanship of this building is truly outstanding and is a credit to all those who were involved with its design and construction.
